Does iSearch Cover All Records in Does iSearch Cover All Records in HKIEd Innopac?HKIEd Innopac?
• It should, but there will be a time gap because changes (addition, removal and revision) to bibliographic records are uploaded to EDS in batch mode (eventually will be updated daily)
• Since EDS shows a one line item status. Users will see Multiple Locations when there are more than one item. Detailed locations are available in the detailed record display.
Do you Mean that the Circulation Status Do you Mean that the Circulation Status Could be One-Day-Old Information?Could be One-Day-Old Information?
• Don't worry. Although the Bib Records are updated in batch mode; the Item Status is grabbed from Innopac server dynamically
• Since the Item Status is generated on the run, sometimes the Item Status will not be shown when the connection times out or not enough connection slots. In those cases, it will simply suggest users to click a link to check Library catalogue (Innopac) for availability
