I chose to use black and white photog-raphy as a way of showing different shapes and tones within an image. The images vary between sculptures i have made with household objects to show a contrast in the design and also the texture the image creates.
using objects to influence my designs was what i did here. as i originally drew a picture of a simple lamp but then through repetition and color manipulation i was able to create this design. This sparked me varying the design and style to produce a variety of outcomes for my college course

surface pattern was a brief i had chose to take forward as i felt it was something i could vary my designs and styles in. These designs vary from using paint to create a more natural flowing look, with also using photoshop to reflect images and impose textures.

Recycling something and transform-ing it into art is something i enjoy doing as the original object is often over looked as how useful it can be. However it can be used to create a great piece.

A simple yoghurt pot on its own doesn’t represent anything signifcant or even look desirable. However forming a grid and sculpture its helped create constructed photography and also a sculpture with many dinamics.

Using light in my sculptures was something that i found really worked and it was especially successful here as the sphere was mainly built up of simple shot glasses. which now formed together create a great light feature that really draws in atten-tion.
