Introduction

This book focuses on the technique of how

the eye is led using pathways and was created

for a project in Documentary Photography.

All photographs were taken and edited by

Leanne Gamble, a second year Media

Production (BA Hons) student, studying at the

University of Glamorgan in Cardiff.

The majority of the photographs were taken

around Leicestershire, Northamptonshire,

Cardiff and South Africa.

The photographs were taken using a Nikon

D40X and a Pentax K1000 on 35mm film.

This selection of photographs explore the way

we are led through images using pathways. The

photographed pathways are those that have been

purposely built and also those that have been

made by ourselves.
