Laura Robinson's civil claim of defamation against Vancouver Olympic CEO John Furlong

Laura Robinson, a freelance journalist who published a 2012 Georgia Straight article claiming former VANOC CEO John Furlong verbally and physically abused students as a young teacher in B.C., filed this defamation lawsuit on Jan. 27, 2014. Allegations in this claim have not been tested in court and a statement of defence has not been submitted.
