Of my home
•What are they?
Principado de Asturias
Aragón.
WHY? My parents met them in Alcalá de Henares. They came here to work.My mother was born and lived in Zaragoza ( Aragón ) and my father was born in Oviedo ( Asturias ) and lived in a village next to the beach , called Salinas.
• Puente Romano. Cangas de Onís.
• (Asturias)This is the roman bridge.Cangas de Onis was the first Spain´s capital city.Here started La Reconquista.
La basílica del PilarIt´s in the downtown . We can see the Ebro river and the roman bridge.It´s so pretty !
Naranjo de bulnes or “Picu Urriellu” (Asturias)
The Naranjo is a mythical mountain to the spanish climbers.Its name is due to the orange colour of its slopes at sunset.It´s in the Picos de Europa National Park at the Cantabrian Mountain Range.
• Aneto, Pyrenees. (Aragón)
Pyrenees provides a natural border between France and Spain.Here it´s the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park.

Finally…Local Festivals
• Sella river descent
This local festival always celebrates the first August´s weekend.It´s a combination of tradition , festival and sport.The race starts at Arriondas and finishes at Ribadesella.

• It´s on October 12th.• A combination of religious
fervour and multitudinous party.
