Calendar of Events:Our Council Meetings are held on the second

Tuesday of the month. Our May meeting is Tuesday, May 10th at 7:30 p.m. in Fr. Abbate Hall,

Park Ave, Monongahela PA. Nominations in May, Nominations/Elections in June. 

The 118th Annual Pa K of C State Conventionwill be held at the Ambassador Center in Erie, Pa - 

May 13, 14 & 15. 

The Bishop Phelan Fourth Degree Assembly

Meeting this month will be on Thursday, May 26thRosary at 7:15 p.m.; meeting at 8 p.m. at Our Lady

Of The Valley, Donora. 

The Mon Valley Chapter Meeting will be held on

Tuesday, May 31st in Carmichaels - Refreshments7:15 p.m. & Meeting at 8 p.m. 

Our Council will be selling BBQ at the Fleatiqueon the Mon Saturday, June 4th in Dierken’sPharmacy Parking Lot, 100 E Main St. Mononga-hela. Your help is needed - please call Chuck - 

724-255-2744. 

This year’s Fourth Degree will be held at

St. Paul’s Seminary on Sunday, June 5th.Please notify Chuck if you are interested. 

Our Council will be holding our AnnualFather’s Day Collection benefitting the Bishop’s

Project after all Masses on June 18th and 19th - Volunteers are needed! Anyone able to help

please contact Chuck at 724-255-2744.

officers for the coming fiscal year at this

month’s meeting. Please come and participatein this important procedure.

Also, May is the month of The Rosary.

We will be praying the Rosary with the Holy Name Society before the 8:30 Mass on

Sunday, May 8th. Hope you can make it!

Knights in Action

On Tuesday, April 12, Chuck Brooks, GK, presented Brother Knight ChrisPolaski with our Council’s Knight of the Year Award. Chris has been a Knightsince 2008 and is involved in all of our Council’s projects. CongratulationsChris, and thanks for all that you do!

On April 16 & 17, our council had a speaker at all Masses explaining the Mis-sion of the Knights of Columbus and Columbiettes. An Open House washeld after the Masses in FLH for anyone interested. Pictured above are Chris

Recruitment Weekend

On Tuesday, April 26th our Council hosted theChapter Meeting and all present toured theWomen’s Mobile Clinic and saw the UltrasoundMachine purchased by the K of C and ourColumbiettes.
