KITCHEN CABINET:

KITCHEN CABINET TUTORIAL:

To make the kitchen cabinet, cut 1000gsm chipboard as per the instructed measurements, and

glue them according to the procedure mentioned below.

MEASUREMENTS:

BASE BOX MEASUREMENTS:

Cut 1pc of A, 2pcs of B and 1pc of C.

Glue A first with 2pcs of B on either side.

Finally glue C.

BASE DRAW MEASUREMENTS:

To make the base draw measurements,

First Glue 2pcs of b and then glue 2pcs of c to form a draw.

Cut 2 shelves and glue them to the base of the 12” by 12” chipboard.

Place the shelf exactly 2 ½” from the top of the base board and the other shelf exactly

on top of the draw underneath.

This is how the box looks after these procedures.

CUTLERY HOLDER MEASUREMENTS:

Glue the B piece first with a paper hinge for opening and then glue the A piece to the

base of the board.

This is how the box looks after following all these procedures.

Finally cover up the whole edges of the chipboard with black washi tape, paper pack

and embellish it.

RECIPE NOTE AND TAGS STORAGE BOOK TUTORIAL:

To make the recipe books, cut 230 gsm cardstock as per the below instructed procedure.

Cut 5” by 6” for the base

Cut 4 ½” by 5” for the left and right side. Score at 3 ½” and 4 ¼”. Then stick ¼” red

tacky tape at the remaining edge.

Cut 4 ½” by 6” for the top and bottom side. On 4 ½” side, Score at ¼”and 1”. stick ¼”

red tacy tape on the ¼” side.

Fold the sore lines and tape it to the card base.

Repeat the same process and create 7 base box cards.

To make the compartment for holding the note:

Cut 6 ¾” by 4”.

On 6 ¾” side score at ½”, 1”, 5 ¾” and 6 ¼”

On 4” side score at 3” and 3 ½”

Fold the sored lines, forming a compartment and paste ½” tacky tape on all three

edges.

Stick it to the base of the base box and complete it by sticking the paper pack.

Finally I have stencilled the word cook with red archival ink and outlined it with black

permanent marker.

ACCORDION RECIPE BOOK TUTORIAL:

To make the accordion recipe book,

Cut one 4” by 6” piece and on 4” side score at ¼” 1”.

Take 2 lengthy strips measuring 4” by 10”.

On the 10” side, score at every ½”. ( ½”, 1”, 1 ½”, 2”, 2 ½” 3”, 3 ½”, 4”, 4 ½”, 5”, 5

½”, 6”, 6 ½”, 7” 7 ½”, 8”, 8 ½”, 9” and at 9 ½”)

Fold all the scored lines like a Japanese fan and tape ½” tacky tape on one side and on

the either edges.

Paste the 4” by 6” piece horizontally to the front side and stick the back side to the

base card.

Finally complete them with the paper pack and insert the recipe tags inside each

pocket.

ACCORDION RECIPE PAGE BOOK TUTORIAL:

To make the accordion page book,

Cut 5 pieces of 6” by 6” cardstock and score at ½” on al the pages.

Stick ½” tacky tape on all the pages and fold it.

Stick all the pages one by one forming a zig zag cascade to the base card.

Finally stick the paper pack and complete the accordion recipe page book.

Finally I have decorated the opening page with a doilie and stuck the hungry cook header

labels for each book. Now it is easy to store all recipes categorised in your own kitchen

cabinet. All the boxes can easily accommodate the recipe card given in the paper pack.
