Community management ServiCeSCompany OverviewCrawford Hoying provides solutions for every aspect of real estate in today's ever changing market. In addition to managing approximately eight million square feet of multifamily and commercial properties, Crawford Hoying and its affiliates assist clients with asset acquisition and disposition. We also offer a full range of development, con-struction, insurance and risk management services. More than 200 team members work for Crawford Hoying and its subsidiaries in the Columbus Market, and more than 15,000 residents call one of our 30 communities their home.
The Crawford Hoying DifferenceRarely found in this industry, our approach is very systematic and data-driven, with leadership as the key component. Borrowing from the GE and Toyota business models, we focus on people and process to deliver results. At Crawford Hoying, we base our performance targets on beating the market average, as defined by REIS. Specific occupancy, rate, and expense ratio goals are set for each unique community. After establishing strategic objectives, we develop operating budgets, capital budgets and action plans to support the strategic objectives.
Our point of pride is our ability to execute the plan. Standard operating procedures establish clear expectations and produce predictable results. Carefully selected leaders and team members, coupled with incentive programs tied to the bottom line, ensure everyone is committed to the same ideals – beat the market and deliver results. We closely monitor progress with weekly and monthly operational reviews. Team members are reviewed three times per year. Many companies measure, but few take action. At Crawford Hoying, action plans are modified to leverage newly discovered best practices, avoid projected performance misses, or recover from current performance shortfalls: plan, execute, measure, countermeasure, execute, measure, countermeasure, etc.
The Perfect PositionCrawford Hoying is a perfect partner. Large national companies have their priorities on the east, west, and southern coasts. Many have already exited the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic. Based in central Ohio, we are committed to owners in these areas.

Inniswood Metro GardensNestled within a scenic nature preserve, the 121-acre Inniswood Metro Gardens is a continual source of inspiration for Central Ohioans of all ages. Streams and woodlands filled with wildflowers and wildlife provide a majestic backdropto the beautifully landscaped flowerbeds, rock garden and lawns.
Dedicated to the enjoyment, cultivation and preservation of nature’s treasures, Inniswood boasts more than 2,000 species of plants, specialty collections and several theme gardens including the rose, herb and woodland rock garden.Visitors will enjoy the seasonal beauty of the gardens and natural areas as they stroll along three miles of trails and paved pathways.
A Tribute to Two SistersInniswood Metro Gardens was once the 37-acre estate of sisters Grace and Mary Innis, who enjoyed gardening and wildlife observation respectively. The Innis sisters’ desire to preserve and enhance their gardens and woodlands for the enjoyment of all people resulted in the generous donationof their home and property to Franklin County Metro Parks in 1972.
To honor the memory of Grace and Mary Innis, Metro Parks opened the 2.8-acre Sisters’ Garden in 2002. Designed to celebrate the complexity of nature and the inquisitiveness of childhood, The Sisters’ Garden aspires “to nurture the nature of the child in everyone”.
Learning and AppreciationInniswood offers education in horticulture and the natural sciences for children and adults. Dramatic displays of natural and cultivated gardens, seasonal celebrations and a variety of programs provide a wealth of information and enjoyment. The sister’s former home is the site for education programs, a horticultural reference collection and staff offices.
Inniswood VolunteersThe purpose of the Inniswood Volunteer Program is to promote the development of Inniswood Metro Gardens. All funds raised through projects are used to operate and promote Inniswood and its educational and volunteer programs.
Membership is open to anyone wishing to volunteer a minimum of 40 hours per year at Inniswood and willing to pay annual dues of $10.00. Membership in the Inniswood Garden Society is a benefit for volunteers who volunteer 40 hours or more per year at Inniswood. The volunteer training program, held each March, consists of four sessions, which prepare participants to perform various services at Inniswood. These services include garden tours and maintenance, interpretation and assistance in the library and educational programs. It also includes a variety of special interest groups supporting the Gardens’ interest in fern propagation, theme gardens, container gardening, and wildflowers to name a few.
Approximately 300 dedicated volunteers help the Inniswood staff conduct tours and programs, tend the gardens and participate in an array of activities.
IVI sponsors the annual perennial plant sale the first weekend of May. All volunteers are encouraged to attend quarterly meetings held at Innis House that include a short business meeting and horticultural program. To learn more about volunteer opportunities at Inniswood, please call the Volunteer Coordinator at (614) 895-6226.
Inniswood Garden SocietyInniswood Metro Gardens is a facility of the Franklin County Metro Parks. Operation and maintenance funds are provided by the District, however, continued growth and development are contingent upon gifts from private citizens and philanthropic organizations.
The Inniswood Garden Society was created in 1984 to assist the Franklin County Metro Parks in the growth and development of Inniswood Metro Gardens in a manner that is consistent with the goals and philosophies of the park district. Additionally, the Inniswood Garden Society assists with the promotion of Inniswood by sponsoring horticultural programs for its members and the public.
Society members receive an Inniswood Garden Society newsletter, a vote at the annual meeting and information on the activities and special events at Inniswood. Membership in the Society helps to assure the success of Inniswood and brings a deep sense of involvement in knowing that your membership is helping support this excellent horticultural facility. Your membership helps the Gardens grow! To learn more about the Inniswood Garden Society, please call (614) 895-6226.

PineaPPle Poblano Pairs well with fish or chicken, even great on crackers. Tangy and Sweet.
CraCked Cranberry Sweet and mellow. Great taste of cranberry
without a lingering aftertaste. Mixes great into chicken salad or on leftover turkey
sandwiches.
SimPly Sweet Our base. Great on everything. Kids love it
on fish sticks and chicken nuggets. If you like salt and vinegar chips,
you’ll love this one.
Jammin JalaPeño Fantastic on bratwurst. Little bit of heat.
Tart and earthy. Works great on hot dogs, brats, and burgers because it’s
almost like a spicy relish.
HoPPin Habañero Very citrusy. Pairs extremely well
with pork. One step up from jalapeño in heat.
no Joke Jolokia One of the few times you can have a ghost
pepper product and enjoy it. It’s definitely spicy but edibly so. Mix with your devilled
eggs or potato salad; also with meats like venison or buffalo.
SCorCHin SCorPion A very fruity pepper. Great to put over cream cheese and to use as a dip. It has a very mellow and sweet flavor that goes well with egg rolls.
GarliC PePPerCorn Amazing garlic taste without being over-whelming. Fantastic on burgers, including black bean burgers. Very rich.
You haven’t had mustard until you have had our mustard!
Whether you like fruity, savory, or spicy; we have the product
for you! Our mustards come to life in your mouth
with our different pepper blends!
It all started over 5 years ago when Justin conceived the beginnings of our Jalapeño Mustard and has since flourished into our full line. All of our mustards (with more to come) should be a staple in your kitchen as they are in ours. You should always keep one on hand to suit your mood or your friends/families moods. Use any of our mustards to brighten any of your favorite foods such as potato salad, gumbo, pizza (seriously it’s good on pizza) and even to liven up Aunt Petunia’s lackluster cheesy potatoes. Our mustard makes the perfect gift for mustard devotees, spicy food lovers; to the person you know that has everything. They make a simple and effective gift basket for your coworkers, kid’s teachers, and the mailman.
