KAILASH KHER

Kailash Kher is a Singer-Music Composer- Lyricist and Performer. A Music Maestro in its true sense! There’s no moment quite like when listening to Kailash Kher’s vocal prowess in the hit track, ‘Allah Ke Bande’ that catapulted him into the national spotlight in the year 2004. Since then he has performed on over 400 Hindi film soundtracks, sung in over 20 languages in regional Indian films, not to mention recording more than 350 radio and television advertising jingles.

Combining Kailash Kher’s strong traditional folk sensibilities and lyrics invoking Sufi mysticism, Naresh and Paresh contribute more modern rock, electronic and funk influences. Along with guitars, drums and keyboards; the band incorporates classical Indian instruments and traditional lyrics to infuse folk and Sufi hue to their songs.

and Naresh Kamath. The tracks are written, composed & sung by Kailash Kher and

produced in-house by the Band at the “Kailasa Studio.”

The band's first album ‘Kailasa’, released by Sony Music in March 2006,

went on to revive the Indian pop music market. The album was one of the “Best selling albums in the history of Indian Independent Music.” The album includes chart topping hits like “Teri Deewani” and “Tauba Tauba.”

Their second album, ‘Jhoomo Re’ released in May 2007 by Sony Music,

went on to become an equally smashing hit. With songs like "Saiyaan" touching the right chords with Indian as well as international audiences.

The third album ‘Chandan Mein’ released in June 2009 by Sony Music,

displayed his lyrical wizardry and brilliant compositions making it the third consecutive hit album by Kailasa.

‘Rangeele’ is the fourth album by Kailasa along with the onset of his entrepreneurial journey as the record label owner of Kailasa Records, in 2012. The album also features one track with Amitabh Bachchan on the vocals who also unveiled the Album at the launch.

Kailasa’s first International Album, ‘Yatra' - Nomadic Souls is an

undeniable classic. The album came out in Sep’09 with the much acclaimed international record label ‘Cumbancha’.
