Extend Jigoshop

Don't use frontend styles in themes

• frontend.css is constantly evolving• Reliance on frontend styles can cause issues when

updating jigoshop• Copy the contents of frontend.css from

assets/css/frontend.css into your theme's stylesheet

Enable Google Analytics Ecommerce Tracking

• Gives stats on conversion rate, average order total & number of items over periods of time.

• Perfect way to measure how effective your marketing campaigns are.

Use Hooks & Filters to customize html output

• Jigoshop uses hooks to display HTMLo Most template hooks located in

/jigoshop_template_actions.phpo Linked template functions located in

/jigoshop_template_functions.php

• For special pages like cart / checkout we use shortcodes so you can add additional information to the page for a full list of shortcodes see the file /shortcodes/init.php

Customizing involves unhooking the jigoshop action & hooking your own. For example lets take the sales flash & change the markup from a <span> to a <div> tag:
