Customized Keyboard DesignFreelance Design Project
Working with tech entrepreneur Matt Mitchell, I designed a keyboard with user-replaceable face plate designs.
This product is not in production, but I have received permission from the client to showcase this work.
Design Positioning Boards Jacob.Rynkiewicz@gmail.com
The client requested the aesthetics of the iPhone 4 to be used as a starting point, so I broke down the elements that make up the iPhone and other similar products to further define that request.

Final Concept DesignJacob.Rynkiewicz@gmail.com
Lastly, I refined the design and added details for the final deliverables.

The faceplate can be replaced with customized designs sold separately.
I chose the shape of seashells for the theme for this project. I wanted to explore different products these swirling shapes could be applied to.
Inspiration Boards Jacob.Rynkiewicz@gmail.com
My inspiration for this project came from sea anemones. The challenge was to incorporate elements of this creature in a subtle way.
