It’s Time to Play M.A.S.H!
Amy loves playing M.A.S.H. with her best friends Marion, Ellie, and Liz, and so will YOU! M.A.S.H. is a game that predicts your future. Here’s how you play:
1 Fill out the game sheet. Under “Future Pet,” write the names of animals you like. Under “Future Job,” write jobs you might like to have. Under “Where You’ll Live,” write down the names of different cities.
2 Ask a friend to start drawing a spiral on a separate piece of blank paper. Shout the word “STOP” when you want your friend to stop drawing.
3 Draw a diagonal line through the spiral and count how many times the diagonal line touches the spiral. Write down the number and circle it.
4 On the game sheet, start on the letter “M” in the word M.A.S.H. and count the items clockwise, moving from category to category. Each time you say your circled number, cross out the item you’ve landed on to eliminate it.
5 Continue counting around the game sheet, crossing out items until each of the categories only has ONE item left.
6 THAT’S IT! The items that are left will tell you what your future will be.
2 So grab your closest friends and see what lies ahead!

One of Amy’s best friends, Liz, has made a beautiful ad for the animal shelter Ms. Sullivan is opening in Santa Vista. There’s just one tiny problem…It needs a splash of color!
Color Liz’s ad and make sure it stands out!
