FIRST YEAR INTERNATIONAL AWARD
Awarded to all new full-time and degree-seeking students granted regular or conditional admission. No separate application required.

SECOND GENERATION GRANT
Must be a child/grandchild or legal step-child/step-grandchild of an individual who earned a degree (bachelors, masters, education specialist, or cooperative doctorate) from UCM. Available only to entering freshman securing regular admission. Full-time enrollment and minimum 3.25 UCM cumulative GPA required to renew. Applicant must request consideration in writing and include alumnus name, relationship and UCM degree completion date. No separate application required.
Renewable up to eight semesters pending satisfaction of renewal criteria

UCM Foundation scholarships are established by private donors for a variety of academic areas and extracurricular activities, each with individual criteria. Most application deadlines are March 1, but always check the scholarship descriptions for specific deadlines.

ON-CAMPUS EMPLOYMENT

A variety of scholarships are available for new and current University of Central Missouri international students, and all international applicants are considered for financial aid awards.
International applicants who submit their admission application before the fall (April 1) and spring (Oct. 1) deadlines are given priority for scholarship consideration. If required, a separate scholarship application must be received one month prior to the start of the first semester of enrollment.
