INTERNAL NEWS LETTER Vol.1, Issue 07 December 2018

Editor’s note

The CEO’s Corner

Chief Executive Officer Riaan Oosthuizen

As we approach the end of the year; we need to look back and consider it as joy. Many great things have happened in our institution. We shared our joy and overcame challenges together as colleagues. The time has come for us to rest and spend quality time with our loved ones.

During the festive season many people will be travelling to their different destinations. Christian church denominations will be celebrating the

birth of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Some will be visiting their families in rural communities where they left them during their hustling. All modes

of transport will be full and people from all walks of life will be visiting South Africa.

It is during this season that many fall into a trap of overspending. We must all be disciplined and avoid buying things we do not need. Festive holidays must be treated like any other months and do not spend money on things that are not budgeted for. My tip is to parents is that De-cember is the right time to buy uniform and stationery for our kids.

To our colleagues who are taking trips to other countries, be safe and take all the necessary precautions and come back home safe.

Let’s avoid over speeding on our roads and do not drink and drive.

These festive holidays must be taken as an opportunity to have much rest and come back in 2019 with full force.

Let’s all give ourselves a pat on our backs and appreciate ourselves for all the good work we completed in 2018 in our respective sub-programmes. We must all lift our heads up and congratulate ourselves.

We are approaching the Festive Season and holiday period. To those who still have the privilege to have their loved ones with them revel and treasure the

moments spend with them. Let us also during this well-deserved rest period be grateful for our victories, peace, blessings and all the delights this season

brings. I am grateful to you for your tremendous efforts during the year.

Our diverse society allows us the opportunity to appreciate many customs, traditions and celebrations. And as so many celebrations suggest, we can re-

dedicate ourselves to show love to those feeling unloved or rejected, create hope to those without hope. For our Christian employees Happy Christmas, it

is a time of rejoicing and revelling for the saviour was born to give light in our daily lives.

Let us also safeguard those around us on the road. When driving you are not only responsible for yourself but everyone else on the roads.

May your holiday and year be filled with joy and success. Return safely. Let joy and peace ascend on you in your household.

vealed a grim situation where learners have no-where to go should the call of nature come knocking.

specified time, Mr Marcus Teffo, Manager Productions said, MRTT is equal to the task and promised that the project will be completed in time.

“We need to work very hard to deal with the dire need of the ablution facilities in the identified schools. Our team on the ground will ensure that our children have human facilities

in their schools,” added Teffo.
