• We live surrounded by colour! There are colours which appear warm, such as red and orange, and colours which appear cool, such as blue and violet. All colours are the result of mixtures of primary colours, plus white and black which creates its brightness or darkness.

• When two primary colours are mixed

they create what’s called a secondary colour. For example: blue and yellow mixed together make green.

• When a primary and secondary colour

are mixed together, they make what’s called a tertiary colour. For example: red mixed with green makes brown.

• Red is the first colour a baby sees• Several recent studies have shown that little

babies as young as two weeks can recognize the colour red. The reason is probably that the colour red is the easiest to perceive

• The favourite colour is blue• Some studies have shown that the people’s

most common favourite colour is blue, followed by purple. The fewer favourable colours are yellow and orange.

• Yellow and red combination makes you hungry

• It’s already well know how the yellow is not the best solution to use for the kitchen decor. Researchers say yellow is the most appetizing colour, as well as orange. According to these facts, it’s obvious why fast food giants like McDonald’s, Pizza Hut, Burger King and many other restaurants wear this colour scheme.

• To treat anger management, choose pink• Studies confirming how the exposure to pink

can have a calming effect and create physical weakness in people. It has successfully being used in prisons and mental institutions on those with aggressive behaviour.
