Nālandā is the Name of an Ancient University in Bihar, India and was a Buddhist Center of Learning from 427 CE to 1197 CE. It has been Called "One of the First Great Universities in Recorded History.

• Nalanda was Established in 5th century in Bihar.

• It had a nine-story library.

• It had dormitories for students housing 10,000 students. and providing accommodations for 2,000 professors.

• Nalanda University attracted scholars from Korea, Japan, China, Tibet, Indonesia, Persia and Turkey.
