She is sitting in a rusty garden chair reading novels. Oh, how

vacation with good friends can be cosy, she thinks, letting

her long legs be warmed by the sun.

She is with good friends in their house by the sea. Once

a fashionable hotel, today a commune of a group of good

mates and the setting of their slow lifestyle.

Although relaxed and feeling in complete harmony with the

peaceful surroundings and the wild garden, she dresses up

every day. She can’t help it. She is addicted to looking feminine

and sensual.

She smiles as she lowers the book and closes her eyes

against the sun. She thinks about her alternative friends

digging the styles of the seventies. They are hippies. Slow-

living by heart and she loves them for it.

After a week of swimming, sunbathing and letting her hair

hang down, she is inspired and refuelled. Ready to get back

to the city and get going again. There’s all the summer’s

parties to get ready for.
