Applicati on Platf orm
Beginning June 2012, IEEE conferenceorganizers will be submitting conferenceapplications through IEEE ConferenceExchange (ICX), a state-of-the-artinformation infrastructure built on IBP,which supports many aspects of IEEEconference business. Conference submitters
using the intuitive and comprehensiveapplication forms will now have the optionof saving their applications and returning tocomplete them later. Additional featuresinclude an on-screen progress bar, anautomatic duplication check, webform tools, and the reuse of data for Memorandums of Understanding and Conference Publications(future).
With ICX, organizers can find status on theirsubmitted conferences immediately, withoutneeding to contact IEEE Conference
Services. Review and approval for MoUs willbe integrated into ICX, helping to speed theapproval process. For IEEE ConferenceServices, ICX will enable better quality andmore personalized service for organizers.
