How to Prepare for Migration?
1. Back up your WordPress with bbPress website.2. Install phpBB.3. Find FTP access details (for phpBB and WordPress)

Migration SetupStep 1. Create your account
Visit www.cms2cms.comRegister your CMS2CMS account or sign up via Facebook or Google

1. Select your Current and New CMS types
2. Type in the URLs of your phpBB and WordPress websites

1. Download Bridge file (zip) to your PC2. Extract 'cms2cms' folder from the zip

o Connect to your WordPress website via FTPo Upload extracted 'cms2cms' folder to WordPress root
directory. o Connect to your phpBB website via FTPo Upload 'cms2cms' folder to phpBB root folder

Go back to Migration wizard and click "Verify Connection to your Sites"

Migration SetupStep 4. Select Migration preferences
1. Check the box to activate forum modules migration.
2. Select extra options for your migration:
• Migrate Media - to have images moved (includes only images from website posts, forum images aren’t included).
• Make URLs SEO friendly - to have internal links formed according to the rewrite rules on WordPress website (doesn’t involve forum posts URLs).
• Clear Target website data - delete all content from WordPress website before the Migration.
3. Press ‘Confirm options’ button.

You're all set to start your migration. It's recommended to run the free Demo migration to see how the service works.

Note. You can skip this step and start Full migration right away.
Migration SetupStep 5. Start Full Migration
Only one mouse click separates you from the new phpBB forum.
After you click 'Start Full Migration', your bbPress forum content will be moved to phpBB.
