How to install provent silent vapor 3-in-1 flooring underlayment

You will need: •Enough provent underlayment •Flooring •Broom & Dustpan •Tape •Scissors / Utility Knife

Step 1: Tidy Your Subfloor Clean subfloor so it is free of debris and dirt

Step 2: Subfloor Inspection Make sure the subfloor is level, clean, and dry.

Quick note: Subfloor needs fixing if: •It is sloping •It has excessive gaps •It has cracks •It has any areas with moisture

Step 3: Lets go! Start to roll out underlayment with Kronoswiss logo facing up

Before continuing: Install your underlayment section by section. Your section will be the length of your room.

Step 4: Leave a gap Leave a 1 inch gap between floor strip and wall so air can circulate

Step 5: cut section Cut underlayment with utility knife once section is finished

Acclimate your flooring - Cross stack flooring at least 48 hours before the installation.

Step 6: Install Your Flooring Install flooring on underlayment until a foot of underlayment is left.

Step 7: Unroll Your Next Row Unroll next row of underlayment with overlap facing open room

Step 8: Touching edges Butt edges of underlayment together

Step 9: No overlapping make sure edges are touching but not overlapping

Step 10: Tape your Rows Use tape to secure rows

Step 11: Continue Installation Continue Installing laminate according to manufactures instructions
