How to find in-car, Share to Car journeys

Before starting

To download the Share to Car journey you must ensure that your car has internet access.One method of connecting is using Bluetooth tethering.

Please refer to “How to enable Bluetooth tethering”.

To download your journey to the multimedia device

Step 1 – Click on “Setup”.

Step 2 – Click on the drop-down arrow.

Step 3 – Click on “Online” and then “Toyota online”.

Step 4 – Confirm the correct account is shown & then click the down arrow.

Step 5 – Turn on “POI Auto Download” or alternatively click on “Load POIs/routes from server”.

Step 6 – Your trip has been retrieved!

Finding Share to Car: Overview

To retrieve routes for new C-HR, new RAV4, new Corolla and new Camry:

Step 7 – Click on “Map”.

Step 8 – Click on the search icon.

Step 9 – Click on “Favourites”.

Step 10 – Click on the trip Shared to Car.

Step 11 – The shared trip will be loaded and navigation can begin.

To retrieve routes for older generation multimedia systems (MM16):

Step 7 – Click on “Map”.

Step 8 – Click on ”…”

Step 9 – Click on the down arrow & the trips Shared to Car will be displayed.

Step 10 – Select the required trip to commence navigation.

Check that the account shown is the one which you used in the app to Share to Car.

If not, click on “Change account”

Click on the down arrow.

Turn on “POI Auto Download” so that POIs and shared trips will automatically download every time Bluetooth tethering is activated.

Alternatively click on “Load POIs/routes from server” to manually download the Share to Car trip.

To use the shared trip, click on “Map”.
