It emerged in the late 1990s as a development within a lineage of related styles such as 2-step garage, broken beat, drum and bass, jungle, dub and reggae. Dubstep got very popular at the night clubs in England. It does not have a stable rhytym. The lowest part of the musical range bass, which is called wobble in England, is in foreground in dubstep. It does not give messages to listeners because sometimes it doesn’t even have lyrics.
