The Honolulu Century Ride is Hawaii's oldest and largest cycling events. Nearly 2,000 riders are expected for the 33rd annual HCR on Sunday Sep 28. The ride starts at 6:15 am from Kapiolani Park.
Even though the event is a 100 mile century ride, turnaround dis-tances are available to suit all levels of ability and fitness. Choose 20, 25, 50, 75 or 100 miles -- you can even change your mind in the middle. It's a ride, not a race. You can challenge yourself and still have a great time.
Experience the beauty of the Windward side of Oahu on your bike! The ride is fully supported with aid stations, mechanical help, spe-cial duty police officers, and emergency assistance, so you can ride light and confident.
Enjoy the camaraderie. Everyone's there for the same reason --- to enjoy themselves in Hawaii's premier cycling event.
Family friendly! Ride at your own pace.
From Kapiolani Park, to Hawaii Kai, Sandy Beach Park, Kailua, Kahaluu, and on to Kaaawa, there's lots to see on the way.
It's more than a just a long bike ride --- it's a sense of accomplishment!
Ride Aloha, and then enjoy the entertainment in Kapiolani Park.
