Many occupants have a preference for hard surface floorssuchasceramictile,quarrytile,marble,hard-wood flooring, engineered floors, or vinyl tile.With-out carpeting to cushion footfalls, impact noise will be heardclearlyintheoccupiedspacesbelow.

Ultra Quiet SR Floorboard is used where more typi-cal typical 1/4 to 1/2 inch sound control mats do not provide thenecessary sound reduction.This1-inchthick resilient layer dramatically improves impact (IIC)noise ratings through thefloorassemblywhileincreasingtheSTCratingforairbornenoiseaswell.

For use with either wood frame or concrete structural floors, Ultra Quiet SR Floorboard can be installedwith a reinforced mortar bed, gypsum concrete, or a pouredconcreteslab.
