Hi-Flow Base
A unique underlayment system specifically designed for use with Hi-Flow Tuf-Top and Hi-Flow Commercial where a greater depth of installation is required. Hi-Flow Base provides a highly cost-effective means of raising and smoothing industrial floors.
A unique free flowing, protein-free, self-smoothing industrial flooring system, Hi-Flow Tuf-Top is specially formulated for use in heavily trafficked areas such as warehouse racking aisles. It can be used as the wearing surface with or without resin coating.

Constructing such a monumental building at the heart of one of the world’s busiest cities was a major feat of engineering, which presented numerous challenges.
The original specification was for a site-batched screed, which meant physically transporting plant and heavy materials in small quantities.
Despite the presence of the UK’s first purpose-built Jump Lift, the screed contractor, the Progressive Group, believed there must be a faster, more logistically friendly solution. And that’s where we came in.
Tarmac Building Products recommended the use of a bespoke blend of our unique self-levelling, synthetic, anhydrite screed that is 10-20 times faster to lay than conventional screed.
Normally flowing flooring screed is only pumped up to 10 storeys. However after extensive testing we were able to create a unique formulation capable of coping with up to 75 bar of pressure. This enabled the product to be pumped to the first 52 floors of the building, a first in the UK.
To ensure consistency the remaining floors were screeded with Truflow B a bagged version of the product.
Mixer vehicles were finely co-ordinated to ensure three were in attendance at all times. One supplying the pump, one ready to take its place and a third parked off site, waiting to replace the second vehicle.
