Working conditions
Full spectrum of waves shows right colours, when some waves are missing, colour rendering index (Ra) will be lower)
There is necessary to have Ra Index of at least 80.
It is necessary accoring to norm ((European Norm 12464-1) to have color rendering index of at least 80 for the working places in breweries.
Influence of different waves on beer quality
- All waves under 380 nm are very bad for beer quality(Ultraviolet)
- Waves between 380 – 550 nm are bad for beer quality (cold white)
- Waves over 550 nm are not so bad for beer quality(warm white)
Correct light for beer
Beer point of view:Only waves over 550 nm or no light
Working conditions point of viewFull spectrum of waves between 380-800 nm to create safe working conditions
Solution:No unltavioletLess waves between 380-550 nm, And more waves in range of 550 – 800 nm, but so balanced to get Ra index of at least 80.It means warm white with Ra Index of 80When possible light should be dim down or turn off
UV Filer
Also different glasses works as filter:
