“Global Cooling”

and the “Return of Ice Age”

Note: the whole stuff which is mentioned in my ppt, may not be true .This contains basic information about the common facts we know .I have included many other points which are shown in movies, science talks and magazines and many of my IMAGINATION.My thoughts might be wrong, but the concepts which I have shown are pretty believable.Pictures and other data have been collected from other sources. I submit my sincere Apology ,if in any case I mislead any of u. I would eagerly awaiting for any of your sugge--sstions . thanking you all,

sahas.

Introduction:

Global climate rapidly shifted from a relatively ice-free world to one with massive ice sheets on Antarctica about 34 million years ago. What happened? What changed? The nature of changing climatic conditions across this greenhouse-to-icehouse transition — one that refutes earlier theories and has important implications for predicting future climate changes.

Now to global warming:

excessive burning of all the fossil fuels .

deforestation. Poaching of animals leading to

imbalanced ecosystem. Green house effect. Geographical misalignment.

Causes for global warming:

We are forcing warming

This is just a cartoon--others will change, but CO2 dominant

Warming over last century:UNEQUIVOCAL, from cautious IPCCDirect thermometer measurements: In air (including far from cities); In ocean water; In ground; On balloons; From satellites;Mass loss from almost all glaciers, including those getting more snow.(There still is weather--some people who should know better look at a La Niña-cooled year and claim warming stopped. Silliness.)

Lake Wobegon: Almost everyone experiences above-average warming (most people live on land, which warms faster than global average).

“With chance of a little better, a little worse, or a lot worse”.

Global warming, oC, to 2095

Average

Effects of global warming: Rise in temperature , leading to

unconditional lifestyle. Unseasonal climatic changes ,

leading to social & economic problems. Melting of polar ice caps , which

result in rise of water level. Occurrence of natural calamities ,

resulting in great loss for the society. The climax i.e ‘global cooling’…………..

The rise in water level in Atlantic Ocean is expected to be

at around 6m ,which may result in submerge of 62% North America. (imp cities Washington DC,Philadelphia,Virginia & so on..

CO2 in atmosphere has followed IPCC-linked projections closely.

Temperature rise has been a bit faster than central projections, but well within error bars.

Sea-level rise has been well above central projections, and barely within error bars.

Rahmstorf et al., Science, 2007

Average temperature change.

The increased Carbon dioxide ,main component of ‘green house effect’ , increases the

temperature of Earth

Brief summary of impacts: Grain-belt drying for cropsSea-level riseTropical diseases no longer frozen Loss of unique ecosystems, especially

with humans in way of migrationTropical cyclones that form likely to

become larger (more energy/fuel)Tendency for more floods and more

droughts (more water in air; faster drying)

GLOBAL COOLING !!!!!

The basic idea or principle of any body is to attain ‘stability’. Stability arises due to

1. Symmetry or 2. balance in all aspects (both physically &

chemically)

According to the oceanographers & environment researchers………………….

“EARTH gets heated by GLOBAL WARMING & it has to get cooled by GLOBAL COOLING”

The extreme freezing of Earth(0˚-2˚C) due to1. prohibition of sunrays due to dense particulate matter or moisture in atmosphere,2. increased cold currents,3. precipitation of carbon (dry ice), resulting in the formation of “arctic type of vegetation” or commonly referred to as “ice age” is described as “global cooling”.

note: ‘Global Cooling’ is just the inversion of warming and is a pure scientific thought . It has no connection with anythingregarded to ‘2012’ or other events. This phenomenon isbelieved by the scientific community to occur after around100 years(i.e 2090-2120)

Definition of Global Cooling:

UNESCO-CLIMATE DEBATE,PARIS The UNESCO – Climate Debate brought out rare facts on the next edition of Earth. The Scientists gave the facts regarding to the final

stage of ‘global warming’.Many reasons & theories Considered as the possibi--lities for the occurrence of ‘global cooling’ or ‘the Return of the Ice Age’.

Will global warming stop?

“Global warming is found to be decreasing after reaching peak values between 2005 to 2036. According to studies warming will come to halt at around 2090 to 2120, to start the ‘cold era’.

WATCH THE DIFFERENCE...

The next 2 pictures coming shows of one minor effect due to cooling.

The “Muir lake” in ‘Alaska’ is expected to freeze and form the “Muir glacier” by 2090.

The complete vegetation will be wiped out and a cold desert will be formed.

Theories in support of ‘global cooling’:

•Pure water to salt water ratio theory.•Photon energy band theory.•Carbon drop theory. There are many concepts or theories put forward by theResearchers & Scientists. At present 12 theories are formulated , based on very complicated studies unable to understand other a man of that field. Out of these 12, the above 3 are simple & interesting.

(These 3 concepts have also been inspirational for the movies ‘The Day After Tomorrow’ , ‘Knowing’ etc…)

Pure Water to Salt Water Ratio theory

1.Melting of glaciers and ice caps.2.Increased amount of pure water in seas & oceans3.Ratio exceeds the required range(0.000036 to 0.0004)4.Increase of Cold Currents & nullification of Warm currents5.Mediterranean type of climate at equatorial regions.6.Further cooling ,leading to complete vegetation loss.

“BEGINNING OF THE ‘ICE AGE’…………..”

Image showing gradual freezing of river & the surrounding hills getting snow cover (tropical climate to arctic climate change)

Photon Energy Band Theory:

1.Solar system enters the ‘Photon Band’.2.Sun gets stimulated (beginning of “Red Giant state” )3.Expansion of solar radius & powerful solar winds.4.Solar Winds destroying the Earth’s atmosphere.5.Intense heating causing complete melting.6.Pure to salt water ratio theory or any other concept is applied.

1.Solar stimulation

2.Red Giant state

3.Intense & strong solar winds.

Carbon Drop Theory:

1.Saturation of carbon particles.2.Act as shield in preventing the sun rays.3.Absence of sunrays results in large scale ‘Smog’ formation.4.Precipitation of solid carbon dioxide (Dry Ice).5.Complete cover by dry ice.

This snow is also known as the “BLACK CARBON SNOW” as the snow appears in grey color. This phase is known as the “LITTILE ICE AGE”.

"Temperatures in some regions, just before the Antarctic glaciers formed, were surprisingly higher than current climate models predicted, suggesting that these models underestimate high-latitude warming under high CO2 conditions. Further, the substantial cooling that occurred in both Northern and Southern high latitudes suggests that a decline in CO2 level, rather than a localized change of ocean circulation drove the climate transition.

CONCLUSION:

"Temperatures in some regions, just before the Antarctic glaciers formed, were surprisingly higher than current climate models predicted, suggesting that these models underestimate high-latitude warming under high CO2 conditions. Further, the substantial cooling that occurred in both Northern and Southern high latitudes suggests that a decline in CO2 level, rather than a localized change of ocean circulation drove the climate transition.

We may not be there to check whether “global cooling” occurs or not. But it’s discussion will continue…

THE END.
