Team Profile• Lion dance has been a Chinese

tradition for almost a thousand years.

• Lion dance troupes can be seen in national celebration events or local fairs.

Team Profile• There are performances of lion

dance worldwide as long as there are Chinese descendants.

• It is not only a unique artistry in the world, but also the most characteristic feature in Chinese folk art .

Team Profile• Lion dance has become one of the

symbols for Chinese culture. • Based on people’s belief, it is also

a performance that is welcomed to the residential areas for celebrating events.

Team Profile• Lion dance is a form of Chinese folk

art as well as a kind of folk dance, and it has become a sport-oriented activity, too.

• It promotes emotional interaction between people and meets the purpose of fitness at the same time.

dancing get to learn and appreciate more about Chinese culture, thus to identify with the profound artistry of fine tradition.
