Web Mapping Your Photos

Windows Service runs constantly, monitors a set of specified folders

It detects any changes to the folders or their subdirectories:

• New photos with GPS coordinates• Renamed photos• Deleted photos• Changed coordinates, timestamp, etc.

When change is detected, it is written to ArcSDE

New information is instantly available in ArcGIS Server.

Benefit: People map photos without realizing it, simply by putting them in a network folder.
