GEAR UP CoRE Teacher AcademyThe Region One ESC GEAR UP Partnership grants will host the 2019 Content Readiness for Educators(CoRE) Teacher Academy. The intended audience for this academy is 8th grade core content educators on GEAR UP Campuseswho will teach the 8th grade GEAR UP cohort students during the 2019-2020 school year. Working with Region One ESC Curriculum & Instruction Education Specialists, teachers will gainexpertise with interactive strategies that are effective in teaching core content concepts in a more fluidand automatic way to maximize student achievement.
