•Agape is an undefeatable benevolence and unconquerable goodwill that always seeks the highest of others, no matter what he does.

•Makrothumia is the ability to endure persecution and ill-treatment.

•Exercising restraint as oppose to revenge.

•Hupomone is translated “endurance”: constancy, perseverance, continuance, bearing up, steadfastness, holding out.

•The capacity to continue even under difficult circumstances, with a hopeful fortitude that actively resists weariness and defeat.

•Kindness and nice cannot always be used interchangeably.

•Nice is defined by dictionary.com as being agreeable.

•Kindness is acting for the good of people regardless of what they do.

•Synonyms for kindness are: compassionate, considerate, sympathetic, humane or gentle.

• Definitions of goodness:1. The state or quality of being good

2. Moral excellence; virtue

•Faithfulness is committing oneself to something or someone.

•It is not always easy to be faithful.

•Christian faith requires trust in God.

•The Greek word used in Galatians 5:23 is “egkrateia”, which means having command or “mastery over” one’s own behavior.

•Spiritual discipline exercised in testing times.
