The new draft fails to take account of this request and continues to call for increased commercial activity in the smaller streets surrounding Brompton Road, including Hans Road, Basil Street and Montpelier Street. Moreover, we object strongly to the proliferation of Street Cafes ( so described AL Fresco),wine bars and other late night establishments which has drawn so many undesirable elements such as rickshaws, beggars, prostitutes, buskers, traffic congestion etc....to Knightsbridge.(PLEASE SEE PICTURES TAKEN FOR YOUR GUIDANCE) May we also ask the Council to include in the LDF the Council's desire and intention to clear the mess created by the presence of Harrods Cafe and not to further exasperate the situation behind Harrods by any shared surface schemes. PLEASE STOP FROM ENCOURAGING FURTHER COMMERCIALIZATION OF KNIGHTSBRIDGE BEYOND BROMPTON ROAD. NO FURTHER OUTSIDE CAFES, WINE BARS, LATE NIGHT ACTIVITIES in Hans Road, Basil Street, Hans Crescent, Walton Street, Beauchamp Place, Montpelier Street.
