Founding FathersFour of the founding father are Ben Franklin, George Washington, John Adams, and John Jay. Ben Franklin invented the lighting rod bifocals, the Franklin Stove, a carriage odometer, and the glass armoniaca. George Washington was the first president of the United States. John Adams was the first vice-president, and the second president of the United States. John Jay was the president of the Continental Congress.

The South became most dependent on slavery because the south had the most plantations and they needed workers.
