LUPULIN BREWING EXPANSION
France-based, medical device maker LISI Medical Remele, Inc.invested $9.4M in an expansion that will create 19 jobs and nearlydouble the size of its operations center. LISI will renovate the existingfacility and add space that will increase the size of the building from65,000 sf to 115,000 sf. New jobs will be created within 3 years.MNDEED provided a grant from the Job Creation Fund. Currently thecompany employs 330 people between their Big Lake and Coon Rapidslocation.
LISI MEDICAL EXPANSION
Minnetonka-based agribusiness is investing $20M to expand its BigLake plant where it makes an array of egg products that sells asingredients or ready-to-serve entrees to restaurants and cafeterias.Cargill will add about 12 new jobs at the plant to help with theincreased volume. Cargill owns and operates an egg processing plantin Monticello. The company opened the Big Lake facility in 2001.
