ANIMALS

Vertebrates and invertebrates

Vertebrates have a backbone, but invertebrates do not have a backbone.

The five animal kingdoms that are vertebrates are: mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish, and birds.

Birds are flying animals.

mammals are animals that don’t lay eggs. This is a list of mammals foxes pandas deer wolves etc.

Plants can be nonvascular and vascular

From roots to leaves we get most of our food from vascular plants.

FUNGI

Because they are not green, fungi do not make their own food.

There are about 40,000 different kinds of fungi.

These are some: Mushrooms , toadstools, moulds, mildews, rusts

Bacteria is microbes that you can only see with a microscope. Some are good for you and some are bad.

protistsThis group is made up of protozoa and filamentous algae
