Our Mission

Our Goals & Objectives

Goal 1-More student-athlete community involvement

Objective 1-Each team will complete up to 4 different types of community involvement projects

Goal 2-Maintain graduation rate of 73%

Objective 2-Instruct student-athletes to hold team study tables 2x a week

Communication Tactics

• Committee Goals/Objectives:o No academic fraud from any of the member institutions

o No reason to believe that any of the schools were fraudulent in the handling of any of their respective student athletes

o Keep the student athlete image of all conference players from their respective sport high by having them perform acts to improve the community and local charities

o Have the kids stay out of trouble on the social media side

Communication Tactics

• Committee Tactics:o Monitor all athletes grades and make all coaches send

progress reports quarterly for all student athletes

o Set a certain amount of community service hours all teams have to do as a group to build comrade and public image for member schools.

o Insist all players take a class showing them the do’s and don’ts of social media

Communication Tactics • Evaluation Strategies:

o Review the academics of each institution monthly

o During community events we can ask people their thoughts on the athletes of the respective universities

o We will monitor all players’ twitter accounts.

*Previous semester GPA for freshmen starts after their first completed semester of coursework.

• The eligibility of athletes will be measured by credit hours completed, overall GPA and the previous semesters GPA

• If the goals are not met, the athlete in question will be placed on academic parole until they are able to reach our academic requirements.

Drug Policy

• To comply with NCAA rules we will not allow athletes to use or be in possession of alcohol or drugs

• Any school that should fail to enforce their drug and alcohol policy or fail to handle any incidences involving student athletes, we reserve the rights to take corrective action.

Compliance office

• Failure to comply with any of the aforementioned policies will result in disciplinary action by the Mid 5

• If a member school is unable to determine a course of action to resolve the incident, notify the Mid 5
