F.B.I.G.’s INITIATIVES
We have three initiatives that give our
clients an edge in the workforce – The
Construction Connection, The Retail
Connection and The Community
Connection. Our initiatives provide
training and recognized certification for
employers, as well as a networking
system that gets employment results.
Faith Based Initiative
Group (F.B.I.G.) is a
non-profit agency based
in Asbury Park, NJ. We
use a holistic approach,
addressing all of our
clients’ needs- physical,
emotional, social, etc.
We assess and prepare
them on every level,
developing permanent
skills that lead to long-
term success. We work
with individuals and
families to find federal,
state and local resources
in all areas of social

O.P.E.R.A Academy Program Is a critical thinking tool; teaching participants fundamental skills to improve quality of life and direction. It teaches the ability to RESPOND instead of REACT. How to “think through” negatives to turn them into positives. O.P.E.R.A. is a method of approaching problems or situations finding the best way to resolve them.

Again, just when we thought the “perception” was changing, here
we go again! Find out what you can do! Support the programs that
are trying the work to “change your community” (F.B.I.G., your
Local council, Interfaith Neighbors, APCDI, Jersey Shore Dream
Center, CARC, Boys and Girls Club and The Mercy Center to start
naming a few). United we stand and together we get things done!
Divided we get listed as the least-safest place in NJ!
The AP law enforcement agency is doing
their job, not it’s time time for the
residents to do theirs! Waiting for
everyone to be arrested, will not work if
they return to the neighborhood with no
changes in how they think or in their
environment! If your word is your bond,
does where you live show your character?
Find out what you can do! It’s going to
take a huge collective effort to change this
perception again! I Work at F.B.I.G., and
the number is (732) 455-5415. I would
love to hear from YOU!!
Recently, an article appeared in the local media ranking
Asbury Park negatively. The article did not say, least-safest
area in New Jersey is “Westside Asbury Park” or “Asbury
Park, across the tracks”, or “Asbury Park, not the beach
side!” It said Asbury Park as a “whole”.
