AODA Therapist. Qualified applicants will possess a
minimum of a Master's Degree in Counseling, Social
Work or related field with licensure in mental health,
a minimum of LPC-IT and SAC-IT, and have AODA
treatment experience. Ideal candidate will be current
with knowledge and experience in providing
treatment to women with histories of trauma and
AODA issues and demonstrate an ability to work as
part of a dynamic team.
Mental Health Tech (Part-Time)
Our Place is Family Services' 18-bed Community-
Based Residential Facility serving adults with mental
health and/or emotional issues who are experiencing
difficulty caring for themselves in an independent
living environment. Our Place is currently seeking an
energetic and fun part-time Mental Health Tech to
work 16 hours every other weekend during day-time
shifts.
A Mental Health Tech's primary duty is to provide
emotional support and encourage residents to
participate in activities, pass medications, ensure
individual service plans are followed, respect and
support clients and team members, and maintain
cleanliness of the household. This is a great
opportunity to gain experience working with
individuals with mental health issues in a supportive,
team environment.
Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma
or GED. Previous experience working with the
chronically mentally ill and completed CBRF training
is preferred for this position but not required. A valid
driver's license is required for this position.
Child Care Worker (Casual Part-Time)
Our Parent Connection program offers early learning,
home visitation services for first-time parents focused
on child development, health issues and family
support and has an opening for a Child Care Worker.
This position is responsible for providing child care
for children, infants to age 12 while parents attend
parenting workshops in the same facility. The
workshops are held at a variety of locations including
churches, schools and public libraries in Neenah,
Menasha, Appleton and Oshkosh. Candidates must
have reliable transportation to and from workshop
sites.
Childcare/babysitting experience is preferred.
Certification in child care a plus. Candidates must be
at least age 16 years of age. Training and support
provided by Parent Connection. Shifts are typically 2-
3 hours during weekday evenings from between the
hours of 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.
This casual part-time position works approximately
20-40 hours per month.
