POSTGRADUATE CERTIFICATE IN EDUCATION

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS A relevant obtained qualification with 2 school subjects (a subject that can be offered at school) of which you will be learning the methodology during your PGCE studies. Applications subject to a selection process.
METHOD OF DELIVERYFull-time Obtain your PGCE qualification within 1 year if you register as a full-time student. Class attendance is from Monday - Friday on campus. All students have eight weeks of practical training in a high school.
Distance Obtain your PGCE through distance studies. Regular facilitation sessions are presented at learner support centres across SA and Namibia. Modern communication technologies are used to make contact easier with staff and the NWU. All students have eight weeks of practical training in a high school.
