The Equity and Campus Diversity Office is in the heart of its Spring semester. So far, we’ve had several
programs. In February, we celebrated Black History Month, which featured a diversity dialogue on the
complexity of racial identity, our Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration, our first Diversity Music Series and
the film 3 1/2 Minutes Bullets . In the coming months, we are excited to feature programs on Wom-
en’s History Month (March) and Celebrating LGBTQ Pride (April.) We are proud to celebrate where
we’ve come from, and where we are going, and look forward to you joining us at our upcoming events.

Major: International Relations
Minor/Concentration: Peace and Conflict Studies , Profes-
sional French
Career Goals: “I hope to be a diplomat, an ambassador abroad,
or a French professor in the United States and abroad”
Experience I hope to gain as a Student Ambassador: “The
experience that I hope to gain as a Student ambassador is self-
confidence and independence. Everything I do today will set up
my expectations in the future.
Major: English
Minor/Concentration: Creative Studies
Career Goals: “Get my masters followed by my Ph.D. and
teach Classic Literature at a collegiate level. I also want to
become a book author and a writer for television shows as
well as films. I hope to have my own production company in
the future.”
Experience I hope to gain as a Student Ambassador: “Being an ambassador has allowed me to become active on campus and sharpen my communication skills. I have always had ideas to help within student affairs and I believe this op-portunity has enabled me the luxury of voicing those ideas and exercise my creative abilities. I also gain amazing peers and mentors in the process. Its a win, win scenario!”

Major: International Relations
Minor/Concentration: Creative Studies and Anthropology/ Peace
and Conflict Studies
Career Goals: My dream is to help others achieve their dreams. I’m
hoping to create a community center called Rejuvenate for the youth
in Buffalo. Rejuvenate will be a safe place for youth to freely express
themselves through innovation and creativity. I believe everyone has
an inner child inside of them. My goal is to reawaken people’s curiosity
and their love for learning.
Experience I hope to gain as a Student Ambassador: I am a
self-motivated, goal-oriented, lifelong learner, who is driven to help
the students at Buffalo State feel more comfortable, and get more involved on campus.
