Energy and Climate Change
EnergyEnergy: it helps us do many things: it gives us light, warms us and makes most of the electric equipment we have at our homes work and even some of the means of transportations we use while traveling.
ENERGY Strenght in action
It is everywhere: on waterfalls, on plants, on animals, in a volcano eruption, in the sunlight, in winds, on waves.
Energy sources are divided into two types:
Renewable Non-renewable
EnergyRenewable Energies: types of energys that come from natural sources that can be reuse and that “clean energy” (doesn’t polute), for example:
Sun: Solar Energy
Wind: Eolic Energy
Heath from the Earth’s nucleous: Geotermic Energy
Water: Hydric Energy
Until 2020, EU expects to raise to 20% the use of renewable energys to the total energetic comsuption.
EnergyNon-Renewable Energys: types of energys that come from fossil oils and nuclear, in which its usage capacity is bigger than its renovation, being highly poluents, for example:
Oil Coal Natural Gas
Until 2020, EU expects to raise in 20€ the good use of energy (energetic eficiency).
