ZyXEL’s In-building Solution enhances coverage for mobile voice and data networks inside
buildings – the ZoneDAS and MIMO Repeater are the two product lines that support at 4G
networks with MIMO. ZyXEL’s In-building Solution is BTS source-independent and it provides the
flexibility on Macro/Micro/Pico BTS inputs.
Each ZoneDAS can carry 4 individual cells of RF signals and can be extended to 8 coverage holes
through simple configuration and CAT6 cable installations.
To address the cost and other challenging issues deploying in-building distribution antenna
systems, ZQAM’s ZoneDAS system has been designed to significantly improve user experience
with high flexibility at low cost.

Low CAPEXWith CAT6 cabling and PoE capability, ZyXEL’s ZoneDAS can be flexibly configured to fit in a specific
indoor environment. Instead of the extra cost of fibre or coaxial cabling, the ZoneDAS takes advantage
of CAT6 cables with a modular design; customers can easily establish eight coverage extension services
with simple, flexible configuration as well as purchase-on-demand for lower CAPEX and the best ROI.
Simplified operation and management effortsZyXEL’s In-building Solution supports EMS (Element Network Management), which allows users to get
clear real-time statistics of signal and device operating status of indoor signals. The ZoneDAS supports
self-diagnostics and self-configuration to simplify network planning and optimization, while EMS
significantly reduces operating and management efforts for service providers.
Flexible for vendor/RF source selectionsZyXEL’s DAS is BTS source-independent and is compatible with all BTS systems including Macro, Micro
and Pico BTS. To provide more deployment flexibility, ZyXEL’s ZoneDAS is also compatible with ZyXEL’s
MIMO repeater.
