Methodology

Music as a community and participatory language. Care more about process than product. Choosing the repertoire based on the abilities of students (age, knowledge, skills…). Accept suggestions from students, do an Interactive classes. One activity have more educational value as more

implying the involvement of students.

Activities

3rd and 4th grade for primary school

1st and 2nd grade for secondary school

There are going to be two sessions of 1,30h. - Music history: A concert with different

instruments explaining for the children the music history as a history (with a power point).

- Workshops (half class):· 0,45h: Orff instruments · 0,45h: Build your own instrument

Primary school

Secondary school

There are going to be two sessions of 1,30h.

· Percussion workshop.

·Comparing Classical music with the music that teenagers listen.

3rd and 4th Primary Grade

• -The monitors will arrive to the school at 9 o’clock• -At 10:00 The activities start.• -At 10:45 to 11:15 Break.• -At the 11:15 to 12 The Second part starts.• -At 12 to 13 The Monitors gather the material.• -The first week we will do a concert (with easy music

explanations).• -The second week we will do a workshop called “make

your own instrument”.

1st and 2nd Secondary grade

-The monitors will arrive at 14 o’clock and they go away at 17:30 to gather

-At 15:00 The first part of the activities starts

-At 15:45 to 16:15 Break.

-16:15 to 17:00 The second part starts.

At 17:00 to 17:30 The Monitors gather the material.

-First week we will do percussion workshop.

-Second week we will compare classic with modern music and the one they usually listen to.
