PTCLAI HR Group JOB FAIR July 4, 2018 –PTC Locator’s Assn., Inc. HR Group conducted its 2nd Job Fair Activity at PTC Conference
Room. A total of 63 job vacancies for engineers, office heads and staff positions were offered by 14 participating locators. On the event 70 professional applicants were registered and screened.
July 11, 2018 – on the second set of Job Fair, a total of 167 job vacancies for skilled positions were offered by 9 participating locators. 45 registered applicants were screened and 35 were qualified for the examination and interview. This Job Fair is a remarkable event that aims to provide standards on proficiency and competency to meet the demands of the industry, cultivating positive work value, competitiveness and quality among graduates particularly in our community.

HR Group Meeting August 7, 2018 – The group held its regular meeting at San Jose Kitchen Cabinet Mfg. Ms. Noverlene Llanes reported the results of Job Fairs and the group completed project: Learning session, Fun Run activity and Government Regulatory Seminar. Ms. Ressie Santiago, Director in charge announced the upcoming Election of Officers. The meeting was sponsored by San Jose Kitchen Cabinet Mfg. to promote its new services Healthy Food Store and Restaurant.

CORPORATE & SOCIAL RESPONSIBLENESS - Broaden Community & Outreach Programs. 77th PTCLAI General Membership Meeting July 26, 2018 – PTC Locators held its quarterly Membership meeting, attended by locators’ representatives. Updates on the PTC projects pertaining to MISSION LIFTSEC were presented. This meeting aims to improve camaraderie and to provide actions/solutions to various concerns raised.

ECOP Program July 5, 2018 - ECOP, with support from the ILO Country Office in Manila, is conducted a capacity building program on labor standards and inspection at Paseo Premiere Hotel, Sta Rosa, Laguna.
The course was designed to promote voluntary compliance among employers, and to help companies design a supply chain labor compliance monitoring approach.
ECOP Cavite Chapter was represented by Best Chemicals & Plastics, Inc and Lamon Bay Furniture Corp from PTC and Chuanshun Electric (Phils.), Inc. from FCIE.
Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA) Continuing Education Environmental Seminar
August 24, 2018 - The PCO group completed the 13th LLDA
Continuing Environmental Education Seminar (CEES) in house training.
ATTY. MARIAN RAMOS-SORIANO, Chief Mediator, Legal and Adjudication Division, LLDA headed the training and gave the updates on the following topics
1. DAO 2018-08 – Water quality guidelines and General Effluent Standards of 2016
2. Implementing DENR DAO 2016-08 within the Laguna de Bay Region: Updates on Policy issuances and implementation
The training was attended by 47 participants from 43 different companies in Carmona, Cavite.
Provincial Environment Natural Resource Office (PENRO) Learning Session September 25, 2018 – Pollution Control Officer Organization initiated to conduct a learning session in cooperation with PENRO. Ms. Judaline A. Fabro, Supervising Ecosystems Management Specialist/PENRO Information Officer/MBSCMO Cavite Focal Person discussed the following topics. 1. Climate Change Adaptation Measures 2. Solid Waste.
The training was participated by 28 employees from 25 different PTC locators.

PTC SFBO VOLUNTEER RESCUER OATH TAKING
July 9, 2018 – After their successful training on the Earthquake Landslide Search
and Rescue Orientation Course (ELSAROC) some of PTCLAI SFBO members
namely Mr. Alfredo Zuñiga Jr. (BCPI), Mr. Glenn Remeticado (Linearworks) Ms.
Jovilen Lagmay (REPI), Mr. Morpheus Ortega (Gemphil) and Mr. Ronald Allan
Liao (Creative) sworn as Carmona Accredited Community Disaster Volunteer.
The volunteers expressed their commitment to be service to
Carmona Communities.
Safety Compliance Committee - Enhance "Zero Accident" Program in the Complex
Installed “FIRST TO STOP, FIRST TO GO” / Applied Road Marking “FULL STOP” Road safety was primarily intended for accident prevention and pedestrian protection. The Association provides an improvement on the road safety inside PTC premises. They have completed the installation of “FIRST TO STOP, FIRST TO GO” signage and applied road markings “FULL STOP” at the intersection.
Installed SOLAR STREETLIGHT The association provided four (4) units of SOLAR Street lighting along Complex Avenue. The project aims to minimize darkness at the roadway during night time. This project can provide safety for all pedestrian employees
Installed CCTV Camera The association installed two (2) units of surveillance cameras along busy intersection of PTC roadway to monitor traffic flow. The recorded video can be used for review and for future reference.

FLOOD CONTROL Project - . In preparation for the rainy season, the committee had approved and implemented flood control projects to reduce or prevent the detrimental effects of flood waters to the complex. August 2018 –installation of 24” concrete pipe with 90 meters area for Complex Avenue drainage system with 8 units of Manhole.
September 26, 2018 – Construction of 16 units of manhole with inlet along Complex Avenue (Beside KNSI to REPI II)
FLOOD MONITORING
September 27, 2018 – Installed 4 channel of CCTV Camera for flood monitoring at Discharge drainage in Soro-soro outfall and PTC East Gate. The captured video will be the basis for the continued study for flood prevention.
