EMBROIDERY FONTS PLUS SOFTWARE a) QUICK BASIC TIPS Do you know you can..

1. Click on Load Lettering (4th icon on top toolbar) to install the Free keyboard fonts. 2. Click on C icon on right toolbar to begin to type a text.

3. Click on Arrow up or Arrow down on keyboard or roll the roller on your mouse back and

forth to perform the function of any of the selected icons (in red).

4. Bring the mouse to the selected letter, right click on Mouse to check box or select individual letter only. The function of the icon on the left toolbar when activated will re-act only for the checked letter.

5. Correct an error in your typed text by clicking on Enter Text ( 1st icon on left toolbar)

6. Click on Options and change scale in Full Scale Zoom. Sew out size on monitor screen to

match actual sew out size.

7. Click on P on keyboard will activate point mode.

8. Click on Arrow right and arrow left on keyboard is for Zoom In and Zoom Out.

9. Type a Space between letters and then activate Stroke between words will create a color change.

10. Change density or column width in Sequencer with Stitch modifiers.

11. Activate Box Move and you can stretch your text horizontally or vertically. 12. Click on Layer mode for 1st Color, next layer to view next color. Layer mode again to view

all colors.

13. Click on Current Color Info then click on Thread color to select color name.

14. Click Print Preview to show all details of the designs you have saved including your company name and address.

15. Key in notes for your design in Information sheet.

16. Change background colors by clicking on Solid Background (5th icon from the right on the

top toolbar) and selecting the required background color.

17. Click Copy and paste and use Box Move to move the copied portion.

b) QUICK ADVANCE TIPS

1. Merge stock design with text.

2. Change satin stitches to column fill or arc fill. 3. Change satin stitches to combo stitches.

4. Change satin stitches to random stitches.

5. Merge shapes and borders with text.

Click on Load Lettering (4th icon on top toolbar) to install the Free keyboard fonts.

Click on C icon on right toolbar to begin to type atext.

right click on Mouse to check box or select individual letter

Type a Space between letters, click on C and then activate Stroke between words will create a color change.

Click on C and “tick” Stroke between words will create a color change.

To Change density or column width click on Sequencer and click on Stitch modifiers. Changing column width or density to 110% will increase column width and density by approx 10%.

Click on Box Move and you can stretch your text horizontally or vertically. Point the mouse to the black dots, hold left mouse and move.

Click on Layer mode for 1st Color, next layer to view next color. Layer mode again to view all colors.

Click on Black cone to select color

Click on thread color to select thread name

Key in notes for your design in Information sheet. Saving file in stx format will store all “keyed in” information.

Change background colors by clicking on Solid Background (5th icon from the right on the top toolbar) and selecting the required background color.

QUICK ADVANCED TIPS 1. To merge stock design with text

Click on Open to select a design. Then click on New.

Click on Connect expanded. Select the file. Click on OK.

Click on C. Type your text.

Click on stitch to generate stitches. Remarks: DO NOT CHANGE THE SIZE of merged file. Scale to remain as 1.00

2. CHANGE SATIN STITCHES TO COLUMN FILL AND ARC COLUMN FILL

Click on Modify Block Parameters. Click on Column, Tick Fill, Change the parameters to specifications as shown. Repeat for arc column. Click on Ok.

3. CHANGE SATIN STITCHES TO COMBO ( Satin Stitches within a satin border)

Click on Modify Block Parameter. Click on Combo. Click on Ok.

4. CHANGE SATIN STITCHES TO RANDOM STITCHES

Click on Modify Block Parameter. Change to Random Side 1&2. Click on OK.

5. MERGE SHAPE AND BORDERS WITH TEXT

Select Shape and Borders with FILL (SBF01). Click on C. Key in the letter that corresponds to the individual shapes. Refer to SBF01 reference chart.

Click C. Type text. Select current font.

Click on C. Click on OK.

Click Stitch to generate stitches
