Elizabeth John is an aspiring Fashion and Accessory Designer and has completed an M.A in Fashion Accessory Design from Birmingham City University, United Kingdom. She has also worked with International brands such as Celine and Hackett, thus expanding her knowledge into both high fashion and retail. Prior to that, she completed a B.Sc.in Fashion and Apparel Design from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. In few years she aspires to set up her own label after much work experience in the industry. But her passion for fashion doesn’t just end there; she is diligent, focussed and yearns to impart her skills, knowledge and experience to the future torch bearers in the industry.
Dreaming to become a designer from the age of 9 shows how determined, focused and passionate she is about this field. Thus undergoing 4 years of Fine Arts during her schooling to shape her sketching skills along with winning several laurels in the field of art and fashion, and being featured in various articles in newspapers shows that she offers a bag full of talent and creativity.
She also started two fashion accessories brand of her own one titled Cling- a- Ling with the theme” Passion for budget Fashion” and the other titled “Kiss&Tel”, these were thus featured in various flea markets in and around Bangalore, India, with a Facebook page in order to update buyers with latest collections, discounts and even custom – made orders. The variety of accessories are- scarves, chains, bracelets, earrings,etc.

As an aspiring designer Elizabeth John loves to obtain her inspiration from various trips and expeditions to lands both near and far. A combination of personal experience and beliefs clearly optimizes her style.
She likes to incorporate a very bold, chic factor to her designs coupled with hints of feminity, dominance and independence.
Thus this collection Titled - Tabgha S/S ’14 is inspired by the Mosaic Tile art crafted at the location, Tabgha in Galilee in The Holy Land(Israel) where the Miracle of the Multiplication of the Five Loaves and Two Fish took place.
The silhouettes are inspired by the various miracles Jesus performed. The accessories are inspired by the motif of the Cross and the chandeliers observed in various Churches there.This collection is an Indo-Western wear collection for
S/S’14 with the imagery of a modern day Indian business woman who is trying to balance her corporate and social life.
The colours used in this collection are sky blue, royal blue, sun yellow, black and gold which are the colours obtained from the mosaic tile art itself.
The Theme for this collection is titled –My Lords Miracles thus depicting the various miracles Jesus performed, with the inspiration being one of the Miracles of Jesus that took place in the region Tabgha.
The mood generated for this collection is supernatural, the colours used are combinations of both warm and cool colours. The fabrics used were American crepe, Raw silk, Net and georgette.

Tabgha s/s ‘14 not only catered to Apparel Design but an integral part of the collection is the Accessories that were hand made and others adorned with various motifs inspired from Israel along with architectural and interior inspirations thus serving beneficial for the accessories for this collection.

Cling-a- Ling is
a Fashion Accessory brand started by Elizabeth John with the target market being teenage college students.
Therefore springing forth with simple, chic and classy designs but at prices reasonable and affordable for all.
The accessories are all handmade and designed by Elizabeth John and her other two partners.
