Why study electronic circuits?
- Semiconductor industry is very important for us:
- Korean semiconductor exports in 2013:10.2% of the total export, 8.2% of GDP
- 2013 market share by sales for Korean semiconductor industry: 15.8%, Second to US
- Electronic circuits are the basic building block for electrical/electronic engineering
- Latest (2015/2Q) market share leaders: Intel (13.6%), Samsung (12.0%), SK-Hynix (4.9%)
