Our Cause

• We created this plan so if the tsunami/earthquake would happen(we could be due for one in the next 50 years) we would have a place for the community to come to stay. We are planning for 200 people for 4 weeks.

• This could also work for firefighters to stay if there was a wild fire.

What about the bridge?

We found a solution for the bridge, to use a rope bridge in replacement. After the bridge get knocked over in a earthquake, a rope bridge would be at hand to go over. Our first access point in from the bridge, and then from the highway, up to the football field.

The rope bridge will be 50 feet long and 5 feet wide.

Sleeping/Shelter

• The tent we found fits about 10 people, and is 18’×32’×15’.

Storage

• We need 1 shipping container, 2,560 square feet which would cost $3,900. We are going to store food and equipment inside the containers.
