INSULATED CONCRETE TECHNOLOGY (ICT)

EMMEDUE is an industrialized process based on a panel system working as load-bearing walls finished on site with structural concrete and cement plaster. Buildings up to four stories can be constructed with single panels where as for higher structures double panels are used.

EMMEDUE BUILDING SYSTEM

Vertical bearing elements; Horizontal bearing elements; External elements for curtain walls; Internal elements of partition.

The panels system is industrially produced inserting two layers of electro-welded galvanized steel mesh between a polystyrene sheet of variable density EPS.

The basic panel, once in place is strengthened with concrete in order to complete the various elements of the system, i.e.

Insulcretech (M2) is the building system that combines all the functions required for residential, commercial and industrial projects. Insulcretech (M2) system, when compared with other building methods, surpasses all competitors. These benefits are:   High continuous thermal and acoustical insulation;   Structural resistance able to bear all sorts of stresses; Horizontal and vertical curtain walls; Waterproofing;   Greatly reduced insurance premiums;   Fire-resistant Termite-proofAll these performing aspects are obtained thanks to the effiective combination of its three components:    Expanded polystyrene;   Galvanized reinforcing steel;   Structural concrete.

EMMEDUE IN THE WORLD

This technology of Italian origin has more than 30 years of history and boasts more than 52 manufacturing lines installed all over the world in the most countries such as Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Ecuador, Santo Domingo, Panama, Argentina, Russia, Italy, Ireland, Spain, Bosnia, Egypt, Eritrea, Nigeria, Mozambique, Libya, Saudi Arabia, Kurdistan (Iraq), Turkey, Reunion Islands, Malaysia, Republica Dominicana, Philippines, Qatar AND USA.

SINGLE PANEL

As a load-bearing structure, up to 4 stories buildings, with structural plastering on the two surfaces;

for partition walls and curtain walls, in buildings either new or to be restored;

for curtain walls and partition walls in large industrial and commercial buildings;

as a permanent insulating structural formwork for roofs and floors of small-sized spans, with or without pre-cast ribs.

SINGLE PANEL “HP”

In order to meet even the most particular requirements, it is possible to realize a special panel made up of a double steel wire electrowelded mesh on each side. Although maintaining the basic features of the system, this panel combines a considerable structurality with a resistance to horizontal stresses, both static an dynamic.

DOUBLE PANEL

It consists of two basic panels, suitably shaped and joined one another by double horizontal connectors, so as to leave an empty space to be filled with concrete, having suitable characteristics and strength. The thickness of the concrete casting inside the double panel as well as the characteristics of the concrete itself will be defined according to the structural requirements.

FLOOR PANEL

Used in the construction of large-sized span floors and roofs by placing rebar steel in the spaces molded for this purpose (bar joists) and them placing concrete.

STAIRS PANEL

It consists of a foam polystyrene block shaped according to designing requirements, coated with two layers of steel wire mesh assembled with electrowelded wire. This panel, suitably reinforced and finished with casting on site in the suitable spaces, is used to build flights of stairs. The stair panel is characterised by its extremely easy laying along with its special structural resistance and lightness.
