Air Suspension Vehicle ConversionsConverting steel suspension to fullelectronically controlled air suspension(ECAS) provides maximum functionalityand benefits. In addition to the improvedride comfort, the full air suspensionsystem offers load levelling and vehiclelowering capabilities suitable forambulances, goods vehicles, mini buses,coaches, emergency service vehicles,

motor homes and wheelchair accessiblevehicles. Load Assist Air Suspensionprovides a load levelling capability for theinfrequent heavy load popular on motorhomes. This system provides an air bellowbetween the leaf spring and the chassis ofthe vehicle.

Testing ServicesAll products, especially those used in automotiveapplications, are subject to wear and tear imposedupon them by the environment in which they operate.Discovering how products will behave within theseenvironments over time, or simulating operatingmodes to assess conformance to a specification, arespecialities of Dunlop Systems and Components. Our test facility has been performing environmentalvalidation and performance tests for over 50 years.

We are able to capture andrecreate virtually any environment to simulateaccelerated real-world conditions of corrosion,humidity, temperature, thermal shock, vibrationand vehicle load inputs to name but a few.

Air SpringsWith over 50 years of manufacturing experience and more than 10 millionparts sold, we were among the earliest European producers tomanufacture air springs. Used to replace the steel suspension systemswith a cushion of air, our air springs have been widely used in allconceivable applications. We have the capability to design, develop,manufacture and specify air springs to suit various vehicle typesincluding LCV, Buses & Trucks for high to low volumeapplications. We also provide a comprehensive range ofreplacement air springs for the bus and truck industries.

In recent years there has been developments insleeve-type air springs for use in passenger car andsport utility vehicle (SUV) applications. DunlopSystems and Components has the capability todesign, develop, manufacture and specify airsleeves to suit various applications. These sleevescan be assembled into stand-alone air springs orshock absorber assemblies.
